Paul and Dan have done a great job with the Gospel Meeting this week.
We showed movies on the gospel of Mark before the messages. We had over 200. A lot of them were kids. What a crop for VBS. I think you could get 500 kids in the Ebeye Community building.
It is great to be back in the Gugeegue church building. Paul and Dan have done a ton of work on the building. The
toilets in the community are all on sea water. It is not unusual for
the local utilities to break down, often. The pumps to pump the sea
water broke down so Paul and Dan have been working on getting the toilets switched to the
water catchment.
The government stopped picking up the trash on Gugeegue over a year ago. The community is burning their trash on the downwind side of the island.
What a blessing to have a government that makes sure you have your trash picked up and disposed of. Water that is piped to your house to drink, take your showers, wash your clothes and flush your toilets. Not to mention electricity that is available at the flip of a switch at a cost of less than 48cents per kilowatt hour and gasoline at less than $8.00 per gallon.
