Gospel Meeting

The taxi's had gas to run on this week.  Because the Gugeegue road is so bad, the taxi driver would only take our members half way back home.  The road is about 5 miles.  Our members had to walk back 2-3 miles. Praise God if you have a paved road to a paved parking lot to a building in which all your members have the freedom to attend. Freedom is a precious blessing!

Paul and Dan will be holding a Gospel Meeting March 3rd-10th.  Please pray for their safe travels and that we have a successful meeting.

New Boxes

The mailboxes on the island were in bad shape. The gray spaces were plugged spaces.

Paul Hester and Dan Holder are coming in March to hold a Gospel Meeting.  Please pray for their safe travel and successful meeting. We are going to start meeting again in our Gugeegue church building while Paul and Dan are here. The biggest problem is getting from Ebeye to Gugeegue.  The road is terrible and it is hard to get a taxi who wants to gamble getting a flat tire.  The government is terrible about providing gas to run the vehicles.
They run out of gas every few weeks. Our members were unable to join us AGAIN this week for worship because there was no gas. There are not that many vehicles anyway, but it was like a ghost town without any taxi's running. Be very thankful you have gas to run your vehicles whenever you need it.
They installed some new mail boxes and they are really nice.  Now if we can only figure out how to open them. :)
