Easter Worship

We had trouble getting into our room where we meet. The keys to the locks are forever being lost. When we did finally get in, the kids did not wear any pretty new clothes.  But, none of them cared. They did learn how Jesus died on the cross. How he rose from the dead and is alive in heaven.
We had a good number of adults too.
Peterson did a wonderful job preaching the Easter sermon.  Thank you Lord for allowing us to worship you this Easter Sunday.

Teaching God's Word

This Sister is teaching for the first time and she did a wonderful job.  God has blessed our congregation with many teachers who are willing to teach God's word to the kids.

We have been missing one of our sisters who is diabetic and came really close to losing her foot.  She is a teacher at the Ebeye public schools and she has been out most of the school year.  Cala is back at worship with us. Thank you God for healing our sister. Keep her in your prayers.  She is better but needs more healing.
Lee looks like he is leading a song, but he is teaching.  If you tied his hands down, he would not be able to talk.  He did a great job.

Peterson has been working with the young men who were baptised lately.  He has been teaching them from God's word and training them to wait on the Lord's table, and to pray during the services.  Thank you Lord for all our members who are willing to teach others about your word.

Bountiful Crop

Our sisters do a wonderful job with getting the kids to sing songs.  Some in their native language, some in English. You can see by the smiles on there faces the teachers and kids really enjoy it.
We had a room full of kids.  That little boy sitting at the desk was learning the songs the bigger kids were singing.
These kids are the future of the church on Ebeye. They are little sponges soaking up the songs and stories from God's word.  Praise God for bringing them to us.

Two More Brothers in Christ

Challen and Barry were baptised into Christ today.  Thank you God for opening their hearts to your will.
Lee was teaching Peterson how to baptise those who confess Jesus as their Lord.
Lee baptised Barry.
Peterson baptised Challen.

To God be the glory.

God Is So Good!

Four more workers were baptised into Christ Tues.   Sixteen total new brothers and sisters.  It seems the Lord has been leading us to have two congregations.  One in Gugeegue and one in Ebeye.
Paul, Wayne and the workers did so much to the church house. There is a new roof,  new pipes and faucet in the kitchen.  Ocean water leading to all the toilets. A new pump was put in the water catchment so there is always water on demand to the house.  Sky lights in the two bathrooms in the house.  They were completely closed in and dark.  You had to turn the lights on every time you went to the bathroom.  It should help Heity save on her electric bill.

Thank you Paul and Wayne for coming so far and working so hard on the church building and most of all for leading so many new brothers and sisters to Christ.  Please pray God will help guide us all to grow in the Lord.   Thank you to the many, many people who supported Paul or Wayne or sent cash to us to help pay for the taxi's needed going to Gugeegue and back. To God be the GLORY, great things HE has done. We believe, greater things are to come.  Below is the new roof.  Paul and Wayne worked the brothers so hard,...... all that was left was their clothes. :o)
