March is Here

We had a good day singing songs with the kids and teaching them God's word. They always soak it up like little sponges.

Paul & Wayne will be arriving in the Marshall Islands in 18 days.  They will be doing several  repairs on the church's home.  They will hold a five day Gospel Meeting as well as preaching on two Sundays. Please pray that their traveling will be safe and that the Gospel Meeting and their work on the church house will be a success. To God be the glory, great things he hath done.

Contributions Needed

Lee had a concert with the Kwajalein Community Band last week.  It sounded great to me.  So many people have left the island that the band is much smaller than it used to be.

Thank you to Sarah Schoop for clothes, toys, books and goodies for the kids. They loved it all.
 
Paul and Wayne will be coming in March to Gugeegue to repair the roof to the church's house and to hold a Gospel Meeting.  Please pray they will have safe travels and a successful meeting. 2011 Gospel Meeting

Paul Hester & Wayne Harvell from Alabama, will be coming to Ebeye/Gugeegue, Marshall Islands March 18-30, 2011. 

Paul Hester:

      Preached on Kwaj and Ebeye 1999-2003

      Helped build the church on Gugeegue.

      Completed bible college & engineering college.

      Believes Marshallese people have God’s Heart

Wayne Havell:

      Preached for 50+ years and owns a business.

      Licensed building contractor.

    Chaplain for police and fire departments.

    Certified counselor, coach, and school teacher.

 Paul and Wayne will be doing several, much needed repairs on the house that is attached to the church building in Gugeegue. Most importantly they will be holding a five day Gospel Meeting while they are here.

Paul has come at least once a year since our three years here.  He has paid thousands of dollars out of his own pocket for building and repair materials, airline tickets, wages for local workers and many more expenses. 

Just getting a taxi to go from Gugeegue to Ebeye is $40 round trip.  They will be making more than one trip a day to get supplies for the house repairs and bring our Brothers and Sisters from Gugeegue to Ebeye for the Gospel Meetings.

Spreading God's Word in Marshallese

 We had another great day worshiping and praising God. Another teacher spread God's word to the kids in Marshallese.

 Lee lead singing and the Lord's Super in English.

Peterson lead some songs of praise, read God's word and delivered the sermon in Marshallese.
Thank You God for our brothers and sisters who are willing to spread God's word to their fellow countrymen.

DVD's

I sent out a DVD to those who sent Christmas boxes to the Marshallese people.  I apologize to everyone.  When I bought my camcorder I bought it in HD.  I tried to copy the movies in regular DVD mode.  Since I still don't know what I am doing I think I copied the movies in HD.  That means you have to watch the DVD on a Blu-Ray or PlayStation 3 or if you have a computer that will run high definition. I really am sorry I messed up.  I didn't mean to frustrate everyone.
