We had a great service worshiping the Lord today. We have had some visitors the last several weeks. We were hoping to get the larger class room back at the school but that door has closed for us. Pray that we come up with another room for our kids to meet in for Bible class.
Ebeye public schools has remodeled a part of their school. It looks great. Their school starts tomorrow.
Cala has gone home from the hospital. She is in a wheel chair and lives in an upstairs apartment. She was a teacher and has a lot of changes in her life to adjust to. Keep her in your prayers.

Sharing With Others
Our kids don't have any tables or desks to sit at. They sit on a piece of plywood under an eve outside the room we hold our church services in. The kids are used to it and don't know anything else but they come back every week to hear another story from God's word.
A taxi made it over to Gugeegue to pick up our members this week. It was a blessing to see them all.
I bought some reading glasses at the dollar store while we were in the states. There are no eye Dr's on Ebeye and no glasses are sold in the stores. I think there is a Dr. on Majuro (the capital of the Marshall Islands) but the Marshallese people cannot afford to pay hundreds of dollars for a pair of glasses. It was not a problem for me to pick them up while we were in the states, but it makes such a difference for our members to be able to read their Bibles and other books.
Praise God for what we have and what we can share with others.

Knock, And The Door Shall Be Opened
This is Eric who was baptised last week. Thank God someone put steps where we could get down to the water. It was hard to get down there before.
The door below is the door to where we are now meeting for our church services. Our kids are having to meet outside this door right now, under the eave. As you can see by the pics below, they are used to making due with what they have.
It is getting harder and harder to get a taxi to go on the road between Ebeye and Gugeegue to pick up our members to come to church on Sunday morning. The road is horrible and most of the taxi's can not afford to replace a tire, let alone a spare tire. We pay them twice what they normally ask for anyway, but it would not pay for a tire. A lot of the time, there is no gas to purchase to make the trip anyway.
Sadly our sister in Christ, Cala, who is diabetic, had her other leg removed last week. Please pray for her recovery and life adjustment.

Back in the Saddle Again
We are back from our FORD vacation (Fix or Repair Daily). Lee or I had some kind of Dr. visit multi times each week. Lee had cataracts
on both eyes removed. He made a comment about how white the bathroom sink was last week.
There were a couple tragedies while we were gone. Our son-in-law in Germany had a car wreck and came within inches of taking his head off. He is doing well at home recovering from reconstructive surgery.
Cala, one of our members, is diabetic and had one of her legs removed while we were gone.
Cala had foot surgery a little over a year ago and we pray it will be God's will she gets to keep the other leg.
Please pray for both of their quick recoveries.
There are brand new ferries running between Kwaj and Ebeye. It holds 150 passengers. It will be a lot nicer when it rains. The old ferries were old barges with seats put in them and a tarp on top. They were pretty bad when it poured rain. There is no A/C and has windows. It makes for a warm ride. It takes about 10 minutes off the ride each way and it rides much smoother.
We had a rejoicing first Sunday back from vacation with a baptism. One of our teens, Eric Saul, put the Lord on today. Thank you Lord for our new brother in Christ.
Rejoice! Again I say, Rejoice!

Most people go to an island to go on vacation. When you live on an island, you want to go anyplace that is not surrounded by water and is larger than 3 miles long.
We have a new granddaughter we have not seen yet. That is ungrandparently. :) We pray you have a great summer. See you on the other side of vacation.
